We are proud to have been selected by Natura homeowners as the recipient of a $15,500 donation! Natura on Forest’s Edge is a new – and sold out – multi-family development in Abbotsford, BC, built by Naturbana Properties and Kerkhoff Construction.
Developer Naturbana Properties is driven by innovation, holistic design, and collaborative approach. Their developments are set within the natural environment and their goal is to create buildings that lead to happiness and wellbeing, where people work, play, and live in harmony with nature. In alignment with this mission and their membership in 1% For The Planet, they created the Natura Gives Back Program for their Abbotsford development.
The Natura Gives Back Program donates $500 for each home sold in this Fraser Valley housing complex to nature stewardship charities both locally and globally.
In May 2022, the 73 new owners selected Georgia Strait Alliance and the Ancient Forest Alliance to share the $36,500 of funding.
At GSA, this donation will help improve the environment of the Lower Fraser River and protect the wildlife and communities who depend on it for their health, survival, and resilience.
