Celebrate with us!

35 years of coastal protection & community power

Georgia Strait Alliance proudly marks 35 years since being founded by a group of passionate citizens united by a concern for the Salish Sea, the wildlife it sustains, and the coastal communities we call home.

To honour this milestone, we’re hosting special events in Vancouver and Victoria, uniting communities, changemakers, and partners around a shared commitment to ocean protection, Indigenous knowledge, and environmental justice.

From music and film to art and guest speakers, these special events will honour the people-powered movement behind Georgia Strait Alliance.
