Tessa Danelesko

Species Protection Coordinator

After falling in love with BC’s coast during her childhood summer vacations, Tessa packed her bags and moved from Calgary to Victoria where she earned a BSc in Biology and Psychology. She joins GSA with a background in project management and geographic information system (GIS), having worked as a research technician and coordinator of the Vancouver Aquarium’s BC Cetacean Sightings Network. When Tessa’s not involved in marine conservation, you can likely find her cooking, cycling or drumming up support for scavenger hunts. She lives in North Vancouver, with her partner and extremely cute rescue dog, Burger.
