#BlackLivesMatter

Georgia Strait Alliance stands in solidarity with those who are speaking out against systemic racism and violence. Environmental conservation cannot be separated from social justice, and is intimately connected to systems of oppression and colonialism.

We are working to address structures of white supremacy in our organization and our communities, and are committed to being an active part of the changes that need to happen.

We have compiled a short list of some of the resources we are referring to as we begin the important and ongoing work of addressing racism in our organization and communities.  You can also check out this comprehensive list of Anti-Racism Resources if you want to dive deeper.
